Project Website Process

decided to stop and take some time to think about how I want to go about completing my final project. So far, I think that I have really been able to set some time aside to determine how I want my project website to be set up, which is a good thing, but now I have to put some more time and energy into what I want the content on my final project website to be. I know the basics of what the final project website should look like, but I need to really think about what other content I want to add to allow the project to start taking shape and feeling complete. I definitely need to start looking into what secondary sources I want to include in my final project and I need to figure out how I will integrate the secondary sources in with the critical analysis essays and the other content for the website.  Overall, I am happy with what I have thus far and I know what I need to be focusing on now and in the near future to get my project to where it needs to be.

  1. Hey Drew, I think it’s a good idea that you’re considering your options and thoroughly planning out the direction you want to head in. There’s obviously a lot to manage and do but as long as you’re putting away time and focusing on chipping away at each step I’m sure your finished product will turn out just fine. Good luck with your project, I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

  2. Hello Drew,
It is good to be coming up with a plan for how you want your content to be organized early on. Having a general structure in mind at this stage in the process is essential, I think, if you plan to have a cohesive final product.

  3. Hey Drew, I related to this post in many ways. I think that we are in similar places in our project process, as I have also been taking some time to brainstorm and plan out my website. Something I've found helpful with the process has been to write out a plan on a separate sheet of paper with all the word counts and requirements, checking off what I already have done. Anyway, I'm glad to see that you feel confident with your work, good luck!
